The Executive Council of the Conference of Ministers of Endowments condemns the Iranian attacks and affirms its support for Islamic causes and the strengthening of joint action.

The Executive Council of the Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the Muslim World issued its final statement at its fifteenth session, held virtually under the chairmanship of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and with the participation of Their Excellencies the Ministers from several Muslim countries.

The statement included the adoption of several scholarly papers submitted by member states, as well as the approval of specialized topics to be included in the tenth General Conference, contributing to the development of joint Islamic action and strengthening the role of ministries of endowments in serving Muslim societies.

The Council also approved the theme of the tenth General Conference as: “The Responsibility of Ministries of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in Preserving Islamic Identity and Promoting the Values ​​of Citizenship,” and set the date for the sixteenth session to be held in the second quarter of 2027 in Makkah.

In a related context, the Council expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, affirming that they constitute a clear violation of international law and a threat to security and stability in the region.

The Council also condemned the repeated attacks on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its closure to worshippers, affirming its rejection of all violations targeting Islamic holy sites.

The statement concluded by expressing gratitude and appreciation to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for their continued support of joint Islamic action.
