Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance organizes the third international conference “Khair Ummah” for ASEAN countries

The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance is organizing the third “Khair Ummah” International Conference for ASEAN countries on the 25th and 26th of Rajab 1446 AH, which is currently being held in the capital, Bangkok, in the Kingdom of Thailand. The conference is chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, with the participation of a number of ministers, muftis, heads of universities, centers and Islamic associations, and religious and cultural leaders in ASEAN countries.

The conference will open next Saturday with the Kingdom’s speech, which will be delivered by the conference chairman, His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, in which he will review the international efforts made by the Kingdom to spread moderation, tolerance and promote the human values ​​​​carried by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them.

The conference, in its third edition, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, aims to highlight the sources of the nation’s charity and its broad areas to serve humanity, support the march of peace and justice, and spread goodness. The conference also aims to highlight the efforts of Islamic institutions in promoting the nation’s charity, and enhance communication between Islamic institutions and figures to achieve this goal.

The participants in the conference will discuss – during its six sessions – several topics, most notably the concept of following the righteous predecessors and their virtues, following the righteous predecessors in belief, the origins of the approach of the Companions, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the approach of moderation and moderation, and the Companions and those who followed them in goodness in confronting extremism, radicalism, and decadence. The organization of the conference comes within the framework of the great efforts made by the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them – in serving Islam and Muslims in the world, and spreading the approach of moderation and moderation and confronting extremism and radicalism through the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in coordination and cooperation with the ministries and organizations of religious affairs in ASEAN countries.
