Honoring the guest
On the authority of Abu Shuraih Khuwaylid ibn Amr Al-Khuza’i – may Allah be pleased with him – that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest.”

Explanation of the hadith:
This noble hadith came as an encouragement and encouragement to honor the guest, meaning that honoring the guest is a sign of belief in Allah and the Last Day, and is part of the completion of belief in Allah and the Last Day. What is achieved by honoring the guest: a cheerful face, kind words, and feeding for three days, the first day according to what he is able and comfortable, and the rest with what he has available without difficulty, so as not to burden him or himself, and after the three days it is considered charity.
