The World Council of the Muslim World “WCTIW” praises the decision of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the “Islamic Cooperation” to resume the membership of the Syrian Arab Republic

The World Council of the Muslim World “WCTIW” praised the decision of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in its emergency meeting held yesterday, 7 Ramadan 1446 AH, in Jeddah, to resume the membership of the Syrian Arab Republic in the organization after its suspension for 13 years.

“WCTIW” congratulated the Syrian government on this decision, stressing the importance of the role of the OIC in coordinating between member states to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization stipulated in its charter.

“WCTIW” expressed its hope that the reactivation of Syria’s membership in the organization will contribute to the return of its vital role in the region and the world, and increase coordination between it and the member states of the organization in a way that serves joint Islamic action.
