Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God protect him – the 45th King Abdulaziz International Quran Memorization Competition kicked off today, Saturday, in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, General Supervisor of the Local and International Holy Quran Competition, inaugurated today, Saturday, Safar 15, 1447 AH, the final qualifiers for the 45th King Abdulaziz International Quran Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation Competition. The competition is organized by the Ministry under the generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – in the Grand Mosque, with the participation of 179 contestants representing 128 countries from different continents of the world. The qualifiers will continue for six days in two sessions, morning and evening, and will be judged by an elite group of international judges.
