Hajj provisions

Hajj Rulings:

Its Conditions:

1. Islam.

2. Legal capacity.

3. Freedom.

4. The presence of a male guardian (mahram) for women.

Its Time:

From the 8th to the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah.

The Pillars of Hajj:

1. Ihram (state of ritual consecration).

2. Standing at Arafat.

3. Tawaf al-Ifadah (circumambulation of the Kaaba after Arafat).

4. Sa’i (walking between Safa and Marwa).

The Obligations of Hajj:

1. Entering Ihram at the designated Miqat (boundary).

2. Standing at Arafat until sunset.

3. Spending the night at Muzdalifah.

4. Spending the night at Mina.

5. Stoning the Jamarat (pillars).

6. Shaving or trimming the hair.

7. Offering a sacrificial animal (hady) for those performing Hajj al-Qiran (combining Hajj and Umrah) or Hajj al-Tamattu’ (Hajj with Umrah performed separately), but not for those performing Hajj al-Ifrad (Hajj only).

8. Tawaf al-Wida’ (farewell circumambulation).
