The Organization of Islamic Cooperation announced that it has submitted a written plea to the International Court of Justice regarding the violations of the Israeli occupation

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation announced that it has submitted written statements to the International Court of Justice regarding the advisory opinion on the obligations of the occupying state of Israel regarding the presence and activities of the United Nations, other international organizations and third states in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation stressed the importance of these legal efforts to confront the measures of the occupying state of Israel and its invalid laws that prevent UNRWA from carrying out its activities in the occupied Palestinian territories as of 30 January 2025.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation renewed its steadfast support for this UN agency, which was established by a resolution of the United Nations General Assembly to serve Palestinian refugees until a just and lasting solution is found to their cause.
