The World Muslim World Council (WCTIW) mourned the passing of His Eminence, the eminent scholar Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who passed away today, Tuesday, corresponding to 01/04/1447 AH (September 23, 2025 AD).

The Council concluded its obituary by praying to God Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon him, to grant him a spacious place in Paradise, and to reward him for his contributions to Islam and its people with the best reward.
