Islamic etiquette

On the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-‘As (may Allah be pleased with them both), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“He has succeeded who has embraced Islam, has been provided with sufficient provisions, and has been content with what Allah has given him.”
Narrated by Muslim (1054).

Illuminating the Hadith:
Imam Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa’di (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“These three things combine the best of religion and this world. If a servant is guided to Islam, which is the religion of Allah, which accepts no other religion, and is the basis for attaining reward and salvation from punishment, and obtains sufficient provisions that keep him from asking people, then Allah completes His blessing upon him by making him content with what He has given him. That is, he is content with the provisions and sufficiency he has been given, and his soul does not aspire to anything beyond that.”
