Verse and its interpretation

God Almighty says: {O you who have believed, do not betray God and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence].}
Al-Anfal: Verse 27

Interpretation of this noble verse:
O you who have believed in God and followed His Messenger, do not betray God and the Messenger by failing to comply with His commands and avoiding His prohibitions. And do not betray what you have been entrusted with, whether religious or otherwise, while you know that what you have done constitutes betrayal, lest you be among the traitors.
