International Volunteer Day

The World Muslim World Council (WCTIW) emphasizes the importance of volunteering in Islam and its great impact in achieving Islamic and human solidarity. The Holy Quran and the pure Prophetic Sunnah encourage volunteer work, including what was authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he said: “Faith has seventy-odd or sixty-odd branches, the best of which is the statement, ‘There is no god but God,’ and the least of which is removing something harmful from the road.”
