Ibn Katheer said, explaining the choice of Arabic as the language of the Holy Qur’an: “This is because the language of the Arabs is the most eloquent, clearest, most expansive of all languages, and most conveys the meanings that arise in souls. For this reason, the most honorable of books was sent down in the most honorable of languages.”
