Tolerance in Islam

Tolerance is a great value and one of the fundamental principles of humanity. Islam has transformed it into a practical reality for Muslims in their daily lives, making it a means to please their Creator, may His glory be exalted. In this regard, Imam Abdul-Aziz ibn Baz, may God have mercy on him, said: “If you know that your Lord is Forgiving and loves forgiveness, then draw closer to Him by forgiving those who have wronged you and those who have treated you badly, and accustom yourself to forgiveness… If you accustom yourself to forgiveness, your soul will find peace, your heart will be at ease, and your status will be elevated in the sight of God and His servants, for He, the Exalted, is Forgiving and loves forgiveness.”
