World Arabic Language Day

Among the most beautiful descriptions of the Arabic language in literature is that of the writer Mustafa al-Rafi’i, may God have mercy on him:

“This Arabic language is built upon a magical foundation that ensures its eternal youth, preventing it from aging or dying, for it was created from eternity as a revolving sphere for the two great earthly luminaries: the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him. Hence, it possesses a wondrous power of captivating allure, like a spell, leaving even the most eloquent speaker powerless to resist its influence.”
